Let your child discover the joys of sewing with our Kids Intro to Sewing Course! Over six weeks this March and April, your child (8 years and up) will learn essential skills like fabric cutting, stitching, and using a sewing machine, all in a supportive and hands-on environment. they will gain confidence while creating their own projects each week while enjoying expert guidance every step of the way. Whether you want them to learn a new hobby or practical skills, this course is the perfect start to bring their creative ideas to life.

ONLY $130 for the full six-week course! We will meet each Thursday from 4pm-5:30pm -- March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, and 23rd.

Learn how to sew and finish the course with some amazing new projects!! What's included:

  • All instruction and guidance
  • Patterns and instruction for all projects provided
  • 4 or more finished projects
  • Fabric for your first projects

Our project theme will be SLEEPOVERS! Each child will make eye masks, scrunchies, tote bags, pillow cases and pajama pants. They will begin by making a drawstring bag the first night to carry their items back and forth. We will learn basic cutting, straight and curved stitches and the skills involved with turning, measuring, cutting, etc. throughout the course.

During the first class the instructor will help guide you in choosing and purchasing your own fabric for your remaining project. If you are able, please bring fabric scissors, neutral colored thread, pins, pin cushion, and seam gauge. 

You have the choice! Bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours ($50 rental fee for studio machines, only 4 available) Please let us know in the personalization box below if you have any experience with sewing!
