You can always find Kathy at the studio, leading workshops, hosting kids’ parties, and working her magic with ceramics in the kiln.
Her journey with Hammer & Stain began around her 50th birthday when she felt a major calling from God to switch career paths. She discovered Hammer & Stain and fell in love! 💖 In March 2020, Kathy opened Hammer & Stain Mount Juliet, and despite facing tornadoes, 2020 lockdowns, and even a flood, she persevered with unwavering determination. Through every challenge, Kathy’s passion and dedication have shone brightly, confirming that she is truly doing what she was meant to do. 🌟
What started as a one-woman show has blossomed into a thriving community with a fantastic team who is able to host countless workshops, summer art camps, kids classes, private parties, and so much more! Every day, Kathy gets to witness the joy of creativity, whether it’s painting a beautiful sign, hand-painting ceramics, trying out the splatter den, or joining a private party or workshop. 🖌️🎉
